Rings

Moon Ring

We need to find God, and she cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature - trees, flowers, grass- grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence... We need silence to be able to touch souls.
— Mother Theresa

Aligned

We did not think of the great open plains, the beautiful rolling hills, and winding streams with tangled growth as wild. Earth was beautiful and we were surrounded with the blessings of the Great Mystery.
— Luther Standing Bear

North Star

Explorers depend on the North Star when there are no other landmarks in sight. The same relationship exists between you and your right life, the ultimate realization of your potential for happiness. I believe that a knowledge of that perfect life sits inside you just as the North Star sits in its unaltering spot.

Spirit

Enhanced perception of synchronicity goes hand in hand with increased spiritual awareness—and with better mental health. The more we practice engaging with open awareness, the more we are able to perceive synchronicity. And as we see synchronicity, we become more spiritually oriented—more aware of guidance, connection, and unity in our lives.
— Lisa Miller (The Awakened Brain)

Contact

What is magic? In the deepest sense, magic is an experience. It’s the experience of finding oneself alive within a world that is itself alive. It is the experience of contact and communication between oneself and something that is profoundly different from oneself: a swallow, a frog, a spider weaving its web.
— David Abram

Knowing

My biggest fear has always been: am I crazy to trust myself? By this, I mean that when I do, I end up spending a lot of time alone, in my own company, relaxed and at ease. Then I look out the window and see a big bustling city and worry: I should hurry up, do more, connect with others, “this here” has no value, “that over there” does. But then I’m filled with anguish because for me, living “out there” doesn't make much sense. Outer life has never fulfilled me as much as my inner life. Sometimes I manage to let go of my doubts and find this inner treasure again: my connection to what feels true, even when I have no idea if it is the right thing to do.

Moth

It is still exciting for me to create new pieces after all these years as a jeweler. What will this be? Will the drawing look good in three dimensions? Will it have a face, like the lights on cars do? Will it be abstract enough to be interesting, yet be still be familiar? Can I make it heavy or lightweight? I let these thoughts pass by as I continue to make one decision after the other, until the piece is complete.
